Our team – comprising Luca Lercara (Tarros Deputy Chief Operating Officer), Roberto Amontagna (Tarros Terminal Cost Control Manager) and Andrea Mastroianni (Tarros Empty Container Repositioning Manager), together with our colleagues from Tarros Turkey, Mr Evren Kartal (Sales & Marketing Manager, Mersin Branch) and Mr Arda Akgun (Documentation and Customer Service Manager) – had the pleasure of being joined by Mr Muammer Kemiksizoglu (General Manager, LIMAR) and Ms Bee Teng Tan (Chief Operating Officer, MIP) on board the vessel for a symbolic ceremony.

On this occasion, a commemorative plaque was presented to Captain Josephus K. Tecson, Master of the Vento di Levante, to mark the significance of this milestone for the entire Tarros Group.

The Tarros office in Mersin, led by Mr Evren Kartal, is now fully operational and serves shippers and commercial stakeholders across the region, including Kirsehir, Konya, Kayseri, Aksaray, Karaman, Nigde, Adana, Gaziantep, and Kahramanmaraş.

This marks an important step reaffirming Tarros’ commitment to providing efficient and reliable connections throughout the Mediterranean.
