The Compagnia Marittima Servizi s.r.l. (C.M.S.) was established in 1993 and operates as shipping agency, customs agency and freight forwarder.
The maritime agency division is responsible for customs and the Harbour Master services on arrival and departure of the container ships:

• dispatching all formalities necessary for the loading or unloading of dangerous goods, if any;
• proceeding, as per ship owner instructions, to the changing of the crew on board;
• providing, as agreed with the customs department, to the loading or unloading of equipment and/or provisions;
• looking after the temporary bonded customs area;

The freight forwarding division offers a complete customs clearance service from/to any destination, carrying out the following services:

• import/export
• goods in transit
• tax reimbursement

and providing:

• phytosanitary certificates
• issuing of certificates
• interstate forms for the buying or concessions between the EU countries

One of the divisions of this activity, carries out customs clearing and organises the loading lists for export goods.
